Our first week home....

We were soooo ready to come home from the hospital with our new little miss and get started settling into our new routine as a family of 5.
Both of the girls have been really excited about having a new baby in our house.  Riley is an awesome help to me in so many ways, she loves to snuggle on her new baby sister and she has been a huge help in easing Piper's transition into her new role as a big sister too.
Piper is very interested in all things Olivia.  Wherever she is, that is where Piper wants to be, watching her, touching her, poking at her....

Olivia has had lots of family and friends come to meet her and so far she has been perfectly content to happily snooze while she's being cuddled.

Kris is taking some time off from work and having him home is a huge help to me as I try to figure out how to manage our 3.  I'm pretty sure that at any given time at least one of them is shaking their head and wondering if I can handle this job :)  Not to worry girls...it might take me a little while, but I know that I'll get the hang of this!

We are so glad that Olivia is our to take home and love forever!  We can't wait to watch you grow sweet baby!

Olivia Diane

We have a new little miss to love! Olivia Diane made her early debut on September 14th at 7:40pm, weighing 8lbs 2 oz and measuring 20.5 inches long.  Our due date was October 4th, but I had a feeling that this punkin was not going to wait that long and we are sooo glad that she is here!

Both Riley and Piper were born on a Thursday at 50 after the hour, but Olivia will get to have a little different story than the other two.  This time my labor started off with my water breaking late Friday night which brought us to the hospital early Saturday morning.  My labor with Piper was so quick that I was pretty much expecting the same this time and I was wrong, she was definitely not in a hurry.  When she was finally ready to greet the world, we were so incredibly excited to lay eyes on our beautiful dark haired, blue eyed, chubby cheeked baby girl!

Olivia's Gigi was there to meet her right after she was born, followed by her very excited big sister Riley and Grandma too.

Bunky Ry and Auntie Kelly came bearing food, so we had a little delivery room pizza party and snuggled our new babe.

It took a little while before we could move into our room for some much needed sleep.  Unfortunately that meant Olivia didn't get to go to the nursery for her bath until the middle of the night and her daddy stayed up with her to document this first.  Such a overwhelmingly happy and completely exhausting day!   Welcome to the world Olivia!

Piper had been too tired to wait for her little sister to arrive the night before, so she came the next morning to meet our new baby!

Just like her big sister Riley, Piper is already very sweet and gentle to our Olivia, who she calls "Vivia".  I'm pretty sure our new baby will never have too many kisses and hugs!

I am one lucky mama to have these three girls and I think that they are pretty lucky to have each other as sisters.

Olivia's first full day was filled with lots of visitors, including her Pop and Grandpa who couldn't wait to get their hands on her.

She even watched her very first Bronco game with Pop, Bunky and Auntie Kelly
After 1 more night in the hospital we were soooo ready to be home with all of our babies!

Ready for her first ride!

We are now a family of five and I am blessed 3 times over to have each of these sweet girls.  We are all completely in love with Olivia, she is a fabulous new addition to our family!
