3 Months Old!

Happy 3 month birthday to Riley! It's hard to believe that another month has blown right past us. It is amazing how much she changes everyday and we love that she interacts more and more with us now. She loves to coo and babble and give the biggest, most beautiful smiles! If your really funny you may even get a little laugh. Her big accomplishments this month were rolling over from tummy to back, discovering how to grasp with her hands at toys above her head. She also has decided that her hands are really delicious as she likes to stick her entire fist in her mouth.

Baby Pool Party!

Okay so Riley's first experince with Grandma and Popdaddy's pool found her less than thrilled. In case you couldn't tell from picture below, she clearly preferred to model her cute suit out of the water.

Despite her intial lack of enthusiasm, we thought we would try out the water again and have a little baby pool party with her buddy James.

And this experience was much, much better than the last. It may have had something to do with the water in the pool being very close to bath water temp, but they both loved it! And looked very stylish in their swim wear.

Lucky for Katy and I we had Tim there shade the babies while we laid in the sun for a bit...too bad he didn't have a spare hand to serve us margaritas with....
