Olivia is 9 Months Old!

Our littlest Miss is one month older!
We have had a lot going on over the past month and Livvy is right there with us!  She has been busy exploring her world on hands and knees this month...she is crawling now!

This is new skill is even more impressive when you take into consideration the obstacle that she has had to overcome to get here...Pipey.  Piper likes to makes it her job to tackle, headlock and just generally push her baby Vivia to the ground...I'm pretty sure she is just trying to make her tough, but Piper may have met her match!
At her check-up this month, she weighed 14 lbs 4 oz and 26.5 inches.  To us she seems like such a little chunky monkey with her chubby cheeks and rolls that it's hard for me to believe that she is only in the 3rd percentile for her weight and her height is around the 25th.  A completely healthy 9 month old doin' her own thing, just like her big sissies ;)

We hit the jackpot with this laid back little miss who continues to happily go with the flow of this crazy family.  She draws people in with her sparkly expressions and we hear lots of "happy baby!" comments from passers by.  We couldn't agree more!
At literally 9 months to the day, Olivia struck up an appetite to try some new foods (as in stopped spitting things back in my face) she seems eager to make up for lost time!
This month we heard the beginning of some words from our little Miss...most specifically "Mama" :)  So Kris may have won the battle as far as her looks, but this victory is mine!
We spent a lot of time with our extended family this month celebrating Maddie's graduation and Olivia's baptism.  She got to meet some of her cousins, Aunts and Uncles from Texas and Oklahoma!

We loved the our family was there with us to mark a very special day in Livvy's life.  She was christened by a family friend, Deacon Carson Krittenbrink with her Uncle Ry and Auntie Kelly as her Godparents and our family looking on.

While this first year is going entirely too fast, I am so excited for the changes that each month brings in our sweet Liv.  It just keeps getting better and better!

This sweet baby is the perfect sister for Riley and Piper and the best addition to this family that we could ever have hoped for!
We cannot get enough of her sweet snuggles, crinkly nosed smile, happy eyes and just everything Olivia!
XOXOXO

School's Out!!!

So Riley's Kindergarten year has come and gone and left me with an older, smarter, savvier (now) 1st grader...as she keeps reminding me.
Riley first year of school has been amazing!  I can't believe how much she has changed from her first day...

To the last...
Well, the two of them really.  Do these sisters look ready for summer break?!
Our little soccer playing, dancing, socialite, Daisy has come away from her first year with new friends, a teacher she adores and lots and lots of cool knowledge.   Our nightly story time has now changed from Daddy and I doing to the reading, to her reading books to all of us.   It is absolutely the best thing ever to watch her beam with pride!   Her favorite subject is history, she can write really well and she loves drawing animals, hearts and rainbows.
A few days before her last day, Livvy and I got to watch Riley and her class compete in Field Day!
On the list of new things she learned during her days at school...Monkey Bars!!!  She has worn blisters on her hands and re-injures herself on a daily basis because she just can't help herself, she is a monkey bar addict!  Maybe they will heal over the break ;)
So here she is...our little graduate!  Ready to move on to first grade!
Now...SUMMER!!!
