Olivia is 10 months old today!
Our sweet girl is growing so fast, I can't stand it!
She is totally on the move now and waaaay too busy making her own fun. Read: getting into everything! It's amazing how many non-baby friendly things that we have in a house with a 6 year old, so we have a little baby proofing to do...quickly! We have also watched her figure out how to pull herself up to stand and this means lots of new potential mischief for our little Miss.
With summer in full swing, we are enjoying lots of pool time and playing outside. Livvy has decided that while she doesn't hate the water, she also doesn't love the swimming pool yet. I think we'll convert her at some point but for now she's content to watch her big sissies swimming or just snooze in the shade. The playground is pretty exciting though and the swings are a huge hit!
We cannot get enough of all of Olivia's expressions, mostly because the majority of them are just happiness overflowing. There is a lot of tongue out, nose scrunched, sweet silliness that pours out of this sweet baby and we are completely enamored. It's impossible not to smile, just looking at her.
Kris has suggested that that irresistible factor might help in the middle of the night as Liv is ready to party while we are trying to sleep. Maybe is we could just see that sweet little face in the dark then the lack of sleep wouldn't be so frustrating?!
Being down on hands in knees is giving Olivia a little more time with our new 4 legged family member, Baxter. She absolutely loves our new doggy! There is a lot of excited gesturing and "ba ba ba" when he comes around. We could not have been luckier to find this sweet boy who is so, so gentle and patient with our ornery little ones who like to climb on him, lay on him and pull on him.
And those cheeks....
We are so incredibly in love with this sweet, chubby cheeked little girl and so lucky that she is all ours!
