Yesterday, Riley and I hosted a Valentine's playdate so that she and her buddies could have some fun playing and of course making Valentines and decorating cookies.
We set up our table with every craft supply that I thought our toddlers would need to bring out their inner artist. We had papers, sticker, pom poms, glitter, jewels, glue, paint, crayons and makers and we let them have at it. I may have been a little overly ambitious as most of the little ones stuck with the creating only long enough to get some paint and glitter on themselves and then they were off to play.
After letting them refuel on some mac & cheese, we decided to let them loose with sprinkles to decorate some pink frosted cookies. They were pretty happy to get to indulge in all of the sugary goodness.
Yummy!
