Riley has been so excited about all things Halloween this year and we tried to find plenty of opportunities for her to dress up in costume and have some spooky fun!
Our pre-Halloween festivities started off with her Halloween partry and costume parade at preschool last week. They have been doing Halloween themed activities for the past couple of weeks including dress-up, mock trick or treating and lots of pumpkin, bat and ghost crafts.
Riley on parade....
each of the classes got to parade through the other classrooms in their adorable costumes.
On Saturday we headed up to Longmont for one of our favorite things, the annual Halloween parade. Riley has so much fun walking the parade with her friends James and Mac and then getting to trick or treat along Main Street.
Snow White and her buddy the Garbage Truck. It might be difficult to tell by their expressions, but they were actually enjoying themselves :)
On Halloween, we started off the day with pumpkin pancakes and Riley spent the entire day in her princess costume for the Children's Museum event and then of course the main event, Trick or Treating!
Our friend's the Abotes invited us over for pre trick or treating pizza and then we let our little princesses loose on the neighborhood to collect some candy. Riley was so excited to trick or treat with her friends Drina, Cameryn and Morgan and they made an adorable little quartet of princesses running from house to house holding hands. After about an hour, our little Snow White had had about all of the fun that she could stand as was ready ready to head home and eat some candy. Her favorite treat....anything chocolate.
