With our newest little Miss set to arrive almost any day now we have been working hard to get things ready so that once she arrives we have absolutely nothing to do but snuggle our new baby. We decided that the long weekend was the perfect time to decorate our house for Christmas and hunt for our tree.
Riley was sooooo excited when the Christmas decorations started to come out...she especially could not wait to dive into her Christmas books
We deviated a little bit from our tradition of heading up to Fraser for our tree and instead went with some friends to a spot that was a little closer to Denver. It was different without the snow, but I was so glad that we got to find our tree together as a family and Kris didn't mind a year off from hauling a heavy tree and and a 3 year old through the snow.
It was a beautiful, but chilly day and our slightly tired Miss R was not exactly embracing our fun family Christmas tradition. She was a trooper though and hiked with us until we found the perfect tree.
After all that hard work, a little hot chocolate and a picnic with her friends James and Mac made everything better....and a much needed nap on the way home.
Hanging a few ornaments on Gigi's and Pop's tree
And then helping to decorate ours too...
Our Tree
All I know is that I am running out of meals to cook and things to clean and can't wait for our newest family member to join us!
