Fall is without a doubt my favorite time of year! The weather is perfect, the colors are amazing and I'm always more than ready for soups, apple cider and pumpkin everything. Of course we also get pretty excited for Halloween and all of the fun fall activities.
We have tried to pack plenty of fun into our fall this year...we've hiked, had apple cider donuts in an orchard, picked pumpkins and watched Riley play lots of soccer.
Piper was most excited about pumpkins this year and we couldn't resist stopping for baby pumpkins at roadside patches. "Ooooooh...can we please just go touch some pumpkins Mommy?" Of course!
Sometimes the dry fall air makes our hair do crazy things...
We decided to take a drive up to Kenosha Pass one Saturday after soccer and it was as if every other person in Denver had the same idea. The drive up was soooooo long with all of the traffic (and the whining kiddos in the backseat) but the colors were sooooo pretty that it was completely worth it. I'm finding that the girls start getting squirmy after about 30 minutes in the car...this should make for an interesting road trip to Oklahoma next month.
It was a gorgeous day for a hike and the girls loves playing in the leaves
A little bit late this year, but we made it the pumpkin patch with Gigi to pick out our pumpkins. Lucky for us there were still some perfect ones left!
As a mom of 3, I am finding that it's nearly impossible to get the perfect picture and so instead we go for showing that at least everyone is having a good time :)
Happy Fall!
