This weekend we hosted our 3rd annual Santa party. Every year we look forward to this holiday gathering and having Riley and our friends over to our house for a visit from Santa.

We started this tradition the year that Miss Riley was born and it's amazing how much our group has changed in that time. Our original group of little ones are now kids instead of babies and we have added siblings and new friends too...it's a good thing that we moved to a bigger house this year. I also love the changing reactions that the kids have to Santa Claus each year, last year Riley wanted nothing to do with the big guy and absolutely lost her mind when we put her on his lap. This year Riley has had a couple of previous meetings with Santa so by the time our party rolled around she and Santa were buddies.

Aside from sitting on Santa's lap, this is pretty much where you could find Riley during the party....with her hand in the cookies. Thank goodness the activity of the day offset the sugar, because we were afraid she might never go to sleep that night.
