This past weekend we hosted our friends and their little ones at our annual Santa party. With Piper arriving so close to the holidays I was a little bit worried that we might not pull it off this year but we all look forward to this Christmas get together and couldn't stand the idea of skipping a year. It has been so much fun to watch Riley and her friends who have grown from infants to full on kids now. They have gone from babies who scream on Santa's lap to big kids with wish lists to share. Not to mention that we have added so many new little ones. So cute!

In true Riley fashion she followed her sweet tooth, picking the biggest cookie on the platter...and then she had 3 of them (as a disclaimer, this is the only time that she gets this kind of free reign)
The kids reaction to seeing Santa. Alec and James were so excited, Riley was a little bit cautious.
She didn't want to sit on Santa's lap, but was happy to stand next him. It took a little persuading to get her up close to him, but I convinced her that it would be a good idea to at least tell him what she wants for Christmas.

Your Santa party is one of our favorite things about the holidays! I am so glad you pulled through this year-even with a 2 1/2 week old! You are super mom! And I could not love that picture of me snuggling Piper any more. She is such a peanut!!
