Happy Birthday Piper!

Happy Birthday to Piper!  There was a special surprise to start off our day of celebrating our favorite 2 year old.  Our elf, Udolf, made his annual appearance and he made us breakfast!  Powdered sugar donuts and hot chocolate are a pretty perfect way kick off your very first day as a 2 year old, right?

Instead of a big bash to mark this milestone, we decided that Pipey would be pretty happy to spend the day together as a family doing the things that she loves best. To help dodge the sugar rush, we headed to Jump City to let the girls bounce out some of their energy.  Piper loves to jump and this was the perfect place to get her warmed up for the new little trampoline that we bought for her.  She and Riley had a blast and Kris was thoroughly exhausted trying to keep up with them.
Our little baby doll and stuffed animal lover had her first trip to Build-a-Bear workshop to make a special new friend.  Piper picked out a pink penguin and Riley found Clarice, the reindeer.  I think that Piper's favorite thing was the heart that they get to place inside their new stuffy and the clothes they pick out.  It was a tough decision between some pink polka dot jammies and a blue Hanukkah dress, but the p.j.s won.

We finished our perfect birthday with a Sesame Street themed birthday party with all of her grandparents, uncles and aunt.  We had Piper's favorite pasta for dinner and yellow cake with chocolate frosting.

There was lots of spoiling on her special day and one of her favorite presents was a new baby doll and stroller from Bunky Ryan and Auntie Kelly.  She spent the rest of her night pushing/running her baby around the house in her new stroller.
Piper also loved the card that Grandma and Grandpa gave her that played "If your happy and you know it"....she made sure that everyone got to hear it.  It never got old!

A perfect day, for a perfect, sweet little 2 year old girl!  Happy Birthday Piper!

XOXO
